Hillhead Registration Opens; Show Grounds Expanded

NOTD HILLHEAD 150

NOTD HILLHEAD 400Registration to attend the 2016 Hillhead Quarry Exhibition is now live and visitors to the show can pre-register for their free ticket by visiting the Visitor Pass Registration section on the Hillhead 2016 website.

The show takes place June 28-30, 2016, at Hillhead Quarry, near Buxton, Derbyshire, England.

Interest in the 2016 show has been extremely high and visitors are advised to preregister to avoid lines at the show, according to the show organizers. Registration is quick and simple via the new mobile-friendly ‘responsive’ Hillhead website. You can choose to have your badge sent to you two weeks before the show or select an e-badge which you can print out yourself and take with you.

The show’s organizers also reported that work is nearing completion on extending the Showground area. In total, around 16,000 tons of material have been excavated from an old tip area to create just under 2,000 sq. meters of additional exhibitor space near the southern ‘JCB’ end of the site.

Show Director Richard Bradbury explained: “With a waiting list starting to build for outdoor space, we are delighted to be able to accommodate some of this demand in the new area. Two access points have been created to maximize visitor flow – one opposite the far end of the JCB stand and the other coming off the aisle populated by the Invest Northern Ireland stands. Interest for indoor space has also been buoyant. With the Main Pavilion almost full, we have once again increased the size of the Registration Pavilion.”
